The Seminole County Sheriff Foundation was formed to bring together charitable donors/community leaders/organizations to support the Seminole County Sheriff's employees & their families along with innovations in crime fighting.

EMPLOYEES

Employees of the Sheriff's Department often need assistance to help with personal financial needs. These needs include but are not limited to help in the event of an injury or illness to themselves or a family member creating a hardship, or helping a deputy with some of their expenses so they may study and train for an exam to further their career in law-enforcement.

FAMILIES

It is an unfortunate fact, but police officers are injured and killed on the job all to regularly. The Seminole County Sheriff Foundation uses its donations to spring into action to support the spouse and children of the injured or fallen officer. This is the most important cause of the Foundation as the County does have adequate resources to support these families when they experience a loss.

INNOVATIONS

Fighting crime is becoming more and more difficult in today’s world. Our police force is required to continually purchase equipment and technology to defend against our latest threats. The Seminole County Sheriff Foundation uses it’s donations to help law enforcement purchase these new and innovative tools to keep our families and community safe.

Seminole County Sheriff Foundation, Inc. is a public 501 (c) (3) organization formed to bring together charitable donors, community leaders and non profit organizations in support of, and to encourage, non-tax based philanthropic efforts for the benefit of Seminole County Sheriff's Office Deputies, employees and their families and innovations in crime fighting. All with the goal of enhancing Sheriff's Office services and to enhance the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime throughout Seminole County.
